Ever since Jim was a kid, he has participated in lots of activities. Today,
as an adult, he has honed this passion into the practice of ‘participative
marketing’ which is viewed by many as one of the most effective marketing
strategies in use today. In addition to being a visionary, Jim plays
a key leadership role in developing long-term goals for the company, creating
new business plans with agency heads, fostering synergistic growth between
agencies, and working to secure EMAK’s position as a global leader
in the world of promotions and marketing services.
With a title of CEO, Jim could be perceived as a little intimidating. However,
he is anything but. To know Jim is to know he really cares about EMAK and
its employees, as is evidenced by his personable nature that puts employees,
investors, board members, clients and potential clients at ease.
Prior to joining EMAK in November 2005, Jim was part owner of Zipatoni, a marketing
services agency that he eventually sold to Interpublic in 2001, and has held
numerous marketing and sales posts with Ralston Purina Co (now NestlePurina),
and Procter & Gamble. Jim has a Masters of Business Administration
from Washington University and an undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Vanderbilt
University.
